This is a nice example of a cast iron ham boiler from the mid 1800s... Offset bottom allowed for placement of the boiler over two eyes (removed) of the wood / coal cook stove...
Four button feet would allow for cooking in the hearth or outside over open fires... Some pitting on interior bottom... Measures about 12 x 22 x 8 1/2...
