For sale is a rare Elysees Yellow Le Creuset Oval double handled Dutch Oven Pan with a lid with a square knob. Elysees Yellow is a buttery yellow shade that was added to the traditional flame line in 1956. The name pays homage to the French origin of Le Creuset.

This great 1950s French Cookware is crafted of Enameled Cast Iron with a square knob and ribbed base indicative of the timeframe in which it was made. The pan is in lovely Vintage condition for its age with the expected light wear including some rim wear, general wear and tiny nicks. The interior is bright and intact as is the yellow enamel.

There is a small dark blue spot on one of the handles that appears to have been baked into the enamel at the time of production. This is the perfect small pan for roasting fish or vegetable dishes; baking casseroles, mac & cheese, scalloped potatoes or fruit cobblers and is great for stovetop cooking and as a serving dish to keep food warm on the table as well. This gorgeous pan measures approximately 8¾ across (11¾ including both handles) and 6 in.
