Unmarked, except for'8' near the right-side handle. Great condition - solid with no chips or cracks (mild pitting throughout due to the age of the iron itself and the vintage gate mark-casting process of the 1800s).
The piece does not sit completely flat due to the nature of the gate marks (there are two on the back). This dates the piece to the 1800's. These gate marks are left over from the casting process used in the 1800s in which the piece would break the mold.
Perfect for cooking or home decor - would look great in a cabin or farmhouse. Please use photos as the best description of the product, but I'm happy to answer any question you have!
