Vintage Le Creuset Dutch Oven 3.5 Qt D PARIS BLUE #25 Oval Roaster
1950s/60s vintage Le Creuset 3.5 quart - D (aka #25) oval dutch oven with enameled ribbed base and square-knob lid, in gorgeous Paris Blue turquoise. The lid is marked "D" and the base of the dutch oven is marked "D LE CREUSET". This was surely a well-loved workhorse piece, but is clean & great for use. No cracks; small enamel chips around the edges, as shown in pics. The cooking surface is chip-free & smooth with some very shallow surface nicks/abrasions and faint stains. Signs of wear throughout-- some spots of dullness & discoloration; the lid knob spins but still feels strong & sturdy (I couldn't remove it with a screwdriver); scuffs & scratches from storage. Condition is reflected in the price. There are some common production goofs that are typical of Le Creuset, such as enamel pops or bubbles; mold flaws, bumps, or indents; color over-spray or under-spray; etc. These are normal and should be expected.
