Vtg Griswold No 5 A485 Aluminum Oval Roaster lid A485C & Cast Iron 1740 Trivet

For your consideration is this vintage Griswold No 5 A485 cast aluminum oval roaster, cast aluminum lid A485C, and a Cast Iron pentagram five-pointed star footed number. The trivet isn't meant to go inside of the roaster! The roaster measures about 16 1/4" length x 9 1/2" wide x 4" high and 8 1/2" high with lid.

THE ROASTER SITS ON MY COUNTERTOP WITH ZERO WOBBLE. The roaster and trivet look like they just came out of gramma's kitchen... They just came out of years of storage of my own. I'm finally beginning to offer things that I never dreamed that I would... Can't take anything with you, and someone should be appreciating this.

This great roaster will provide many years of service and last generations... Nice thing to pass along.

If you want to put this into show condition, get yourself some lye and let it soak a bit or get a grinder with a soft wire wheel, or a buffer... Myself, I prefer this look, and this is clean and ready to use upon receipt. There is a little normal wear, and this looks great... Condition is just as pictured... Enlarge pictures and you can decide the condition, and whether or not this will meet your needs.

Since I don't charge anything extra for packing supplies, I do reuse old boxes and packing materials. I would never use anything that won't get you your item safely. E ven though this is packaged I could repackage very easily.
